Dr. Nortmann joined the team at VCA Green as the medical director in 2017. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from The Ohio State University in 2002. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical training at Iowa State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2006.
Dr. Nortmann began her career in a mixed animal practice in Northwest Ohio, followed by small animal practice in New York and as a medical director in Virginia. She was very happy to return to the Buckeye State and considers it a privilege to contribute to the excellent medical service provided by VCA Green Animal Hospital. In her free time, Dr. Nortmann enjoys spending time with her family in Chagrin Falls and participating in dog sports with her smooth collies, Caper and Spark.
