Dr. Julie Howard joined VCA Klingele in 1999. She graduated from Blackburn College with a Bachelor’s in Science. She received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University in 1998. She is affiliated with the American Veterinary Medicine Association (AVMA). Dr. Julie’s motivation to enter veterinary medicine was, “I have always loved animals and started bringing them home at the age of three.  I can’t remember ever wanting to do anything else”. She loves being able to practice quality veterinary medicine without having to be in a big city, which allows her to remain living in a county setting.

She shares her home with her two children, her mother, three felines (Mew-Two, Oliver, Sparta) and two dogs (Robin Adair and Kaylee Frye). In her free time, she enjoys cross stitch, photography, and road trips.
