Collette started at VCA Lafayette Animal Hospital as an extern in 2025 and is now a part-time veterinary assistant. She is currently working toward a degree in Animal Sciences with minors in biological sciences and psychology from Purdue University. She has also been working in an animal research lab with Pekin ducks at Purdue since 2023. In addition to Purdue studies, she has completed and passed an approved veterinary assistant program. She is passionate about veterinary medicine, but has a special interest in ophthalmology and neurology. She loves to spend time with her one Samoyed and five cats at home. In her free time, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
