Melissa has been our CSR supervisor since she returned to VCA Lakota Hills Animal Hospital in early 2018.

In her own words: "I have two dogs, Nellie and Zeke, that are both fun to be around. Zeke is Mr. Personality and Nellie just likes to have fun. I have worked at multiple veterinary hospitals, but this feels like home for me. I love the people I work with, the clients we see, and all of their pets.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time on my deck with my husband Doug, enjoying the birds. We feed them often and enjoy watching them, especially when we see birds new to our yard. We keep a bird identification book close at hand so we can look up the new "faces" that come into the yard. I also enjoy spending as much time as I can with my two grandsons that I love to pieces. If it were up to me, I would spend time with them every day but will take what I can get."
