Emil has always had a passion for animals. He grew up in a 4-H home, showing rabbits and learning about livestock. He has a deep love for the Basset Hound breed and has always had at least one for 22 years. His first dog, Cleo, is the one that inspired him and started him on his journey in the grooming field.  Emil started grooming in 2015 and knew that he wanted to help dogs that are too nervous for a traditional salon setting. He loves working with pets with health issues, elderly pets, and those that may be nervous or fractious. One of his goals as a groomer is to ensure his grooming patients are comfortable and to ease their fear of the process. Emil is one of the few groomers in the area that will bathe/groom cats, too. He just has a way with them!  

He is currently training for the Master Groomer certification as well as working to get into grooming competitions. Emil resides with his house full of pets, including Samuel, Oreo, and Neferpitou the cats, Chloe the Basset, and Penny the doodle, who are his whole entire world.
