Rachel began her veterinary journey seven years ago right here at Madison as a kennel assistant and has since grown into a leadership role through hard work, curiosity, and passion. After spending three years at a VCA in Austin, Texas, she discovered a deep love for emergency and critical care medicine.
Rachel is a proud "crazy cat lady" thanks to her dad's love of felines, and she adores cats of all types—from spicy to sweet, seniors to kittens. At home, she shares her life with four beloved cats.
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys karaoke, gaming, and spending time in nature. She's a big fan of Supernatural and has a special interest in complex medical math, transfusion medicine, and constantly learning and growing with her team.
We are so lucky to have Rachel as our new supervisor—her passion, experience, and love for both animals and her team makes her an incredible asset to Madison!
