Vickie joined VCA Magnolia in 2020. She grew up in Edmonds, WA, attended Edmonds College, and later received her veterinary technician license through years of on-the-job training. Vickie is a continuous learner, and has focused more extensively on veterinary behavior, nutrition, and feline medicine. She really appreciates the client education part of her job, and helping people care for their pets to the best of their capabilities. Vickie also particularly enjoys working with cats and all things doodle. She loves watching the relationship between people and their pets. Vickie's own pets include Ben, a 12-year-old German shepherd/collie mix "Bestest Boy!", and Lilipapaya, the 15-year-old princess tortoiseshell. When not at the clinic, Vickie enjoys going on walks with Ben, gardening, baking, and continuing education.
