Samantha Smith, Veterinary Assistant

Sam is a veterinary assistant at VCA Marshalltown with a BS in Biology. Sam loves the continued learning the veterinary field provides and she is hoping to obtain her vet tech degree and become a registered veterinary technician in the future. As a veterinary assistant, she loves assisting in surgical procedures and working with animals every day.

Outside of work, Sam can be found helping her uncle teach youth soccer in the spring or playing on the slow pitch softball team with other team members from VCA. She also enjoys spending time with her dogs, "Ace, "Hank," and "Lambeau," and her cat, "Izzy."
