Dr. Vieira received her DVM degree from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. She received her BS in pre-veterinary/animal science from UMass Amhearst. Since graduating from veterinary school, she has been practicing at a small animal clinic in Western Massachusetts prior to joining the team at VCA Montgomery Road Animal Hospital. Recently, she completed a 5 month long course through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society and is currently becoming certified in acupuncture. When not at work, she enjoys reading, hiking, and knitting/crocheting. She is the proud owner of a cat that she adopted while in vet school.
