Adriana’s passion for working with animals began early in life and ultimately inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She earned her degree in Environmental Studies from Eckerd College, where her interest in animal care and the natural world continued to grow. Through her studies and experiences, she developed a strong appreciation for the connection between people, animals, and the environments they share.

Adriana enjoys that each day in veterinary medicine brings something new to learn and new opportunities to support pets and their families. Getting to know each pet’s personality and building familiarity with families helps make every visit feel more comfortable and personal.
Growing up, Adriana spent time visiting family in Colombia, where she developed a deep fascination with wildlife and farm animals. Those early experiences strengthened her connection to animals and reinforced her desire to build a career focused on helping them. Today, she brings that same curiosity and compassion into her role at the hospital.
“My goal is to help make every visit a positive experience. Since our patients can’t speak for themselves, I focus on asking the right questions and supporting clear communication, so pets receive the best care possible.”
