Laura began her career in veterinary medicine in 1990 then went on to pursue human medicine in 2004. Her compassion and love for animals led her back to veterinary medicine in 2020. Laura grew up in Blairsville, GA on a small farm surrounded by horses, cows, goats, dogs, cats, and many other animals. After meeting her husband Andy in 1998, she moved to Monroe and started a family. Laura has three amazing children, Megan, Matthew and Mallory and is a proud grandmother to Ellie, Ben, and Drew. Laura has a handsome Labrador retriever, Otis. In her free time she enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with family and watching her beloved Buffalo Bills.
