Jolene grew up in a small town in western Nebraska and fell in love with all animals, especially dogs. From the time she was two years old, her first word was "og," short for dog. She graduated from Colorado State University in 1996 with a degree in exercise and sports medicine with a minor in coaching. In 2000, she obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Creighton University. Jolene became certified in laser therapy in 2006. Jolene was hired at VCA PineRidge Animal Hospital in 2014 to work in the Rehabilitation department. In 2016, Jolene became a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner. Jolene has a soft spot for her geriatric (human and animal), disabled, and service animals.
When not at VCA PineRidge, Jolene works with human clients at a skilled nursing facility and in home health care to maintain her active MN PT license.
Outside of work, Jolene enjoys officiating collegiate volleyball, reading, going for walks with her dog Izzy, watching movies, playing games, hanging out with friends, and spending time with her four godchildren from Duluth, MN.
