Julia has been a Certified Veterinary Technician since graduating from Becker College in 2018 with a Bachelor's of Veterinary Science degree. In addition to working at VCA Povar, she travels around Rhode Island caring for exotic pets and wildlife with Beck Veterinary Services. At home, she has a small zoo of animals: dogs, cats, sugar gliders, degus, geckoes, rats, a hedgehog, a snake, and a turtle!

In her free time, Julia enjoys bone collecting, spending time with her pets, and taking her dogs on hikes or kayak rides. Her Chihuahua, Bunnie, is almost always in tow, rolling along in her wheelchair. Bunnie was born without her front legs fully developed, but that certainly doesn't stop her! She is full of Chihuahua spice, confidence, and love. We're so happy to have Julia and Bunnie at VCA Povar!
