To be true to this mission, the hospital team relies on several individuals, each equally important in helping us deliver the best patient and client experience for both you and your pet.

And if things get complicated, we are fortunate to have access to the nation's largest network of VCA veterinarians and board-certified specialists. In a word: TEAMWORK!!

Teamwork is a constant in our daily practice. From check-in to check-out, our team of pet lovers works cohesively to create a warm and welcoming experience for both you and your pet.

Jeffrey Najarian
Medical Director

Dr. Jeffrey Najarian joined VCA Santa Anita in February 2008. He is a native of Southern California. He grew up in the San Gabriel Valley. He completed his undergraduate degree in Animal Science at the University of California at Davis. He later went on to complete graduate studies at UC Davis, earning a Master of Science in Animal Science. Dr. Najarian's academic career reached it's pinnacle after he fulfilled a lifelong dream and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation he continued his training as an intern at Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group; a multi-specialty referral practice in Ventura, CA. He then pursued an interest in veterinary surgery and completed a surgical internship at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists in Houston, TX before joining our team at VCA Santa Anita. When not at work Dr. Najarian can be found enjoying the outdoors with his pug "Otis", his Scottish Terrier "Rocket" and his Shar Pei cross "Pua". Dr. Najarian speaks fluent Armenian.

Pamela Klein
Hospital Manager
Pamela Klein, Hospital Manager at VCA Santa Anita, has devoted her career to the animal welfare industry. She brings a wealth of experience and insight to her work. Prior to joining VCA, Pamela worked at Riverside Humane Society and Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. Pamela has spent ten years in the field of animal care and has served in a variety of leadership positions throughout her career. As a member of the Association for Animal Welfare Advancement, Pamela holds various certificates in leadership and management, supporting VCA’s mission of delivering exceptional client and patient care. Pamela achieved a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations in 2018 and is currently pursuing her MBA at Azusa Pacific University. Pamela resides in Glendora, CA, and enjoys spoiling her two senior chihuahuas with homecooked meals and their favorite reality TV shows.
