Alissa joined VCA Sequoia Valley in late 2017 as a veterinary receptionist while furthering her veterinary technician knowledge at the SRJC. She became a Registered Veterinary Technician in 2020. Growing up, Alissa spent a lot of time hanging out with her pit-bull "Little Mama" who had 2 litters of puppies. This only furthered her love for animals. Currently, she has 2 cats (Tivali and Moose) and 2 dogs (Harley and Cleo).

In her spare time, Alissa loves going to the ocean to explore or hike, reading, learning about/finding new crystals, and of course hanging with her pets.
