Cecilia was born and raised in Santa Rosa. Her love for animals started at a young age from growing up around her grandma's dairy. The experience she gained from there developed her passion for livestock and other facets of agriculture. She went to CSU, Chico and received a BS in agricultural business in May 2014. She enjoyed that portion of the agriculture industry, but quickly became bored of being in front of a computer all day crunching numbers. She started attending Santa Rosa Junior College in June 2015 in hopes to become a registered veterinary technician and since then has become the supervisor here at VCA Sequoia! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, her dog, Scout, and friends doing anything from spontaneous weekend adventures to relaxing at home.
