Dr. Kelsey Piel grew up in the Capital Region of NY and completed her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science at Cornell University. She graduated from St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, though she completed her clinical year of veterinary school at Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She has a Grenada island mutt at home and three cats, one of which is also from Grenada. Her special interests are surgery and nutrition. At home, Dr. Piel enjoys hiking, biking, canoeing, reading, and jigsaw puzzles.
