Dr. Kyla Garrels graduated from Oklahoma State University Center for Veterinary Health Sciences in 2008. Dr. Garrels treats dogs and cats, but also treats rabbits, pocket pets, birds and reptiles. She enjoys dermatology, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery.

Dr. Garrels is a native to Oklahoma City, but has called Apopka home since 2008.

Dr. Garrels shares her home with 2 dogs, 1 cat, 2 rabbits, 1 iguana, and a 90lb tortoise. In her spare time, she is kept busy by her husband, Andrew, and 2 young daughters. She enjoys reading, spending time at the beach, and going to Disney with her girls.
