My name it's Edgard, I am an animal lover. All my life I have been surrounded by animals. To me, they are more than pets, they are my best friend. I come to work every day with a smile on my face because I get to make a difference in their life and also our clients. My love for animals has always been constant thing in my life, I have always had pets and I can't imagine what life would be without them. My house is full with a terrier named Tucker, a pit bull mix named Bubbles, and three beautiful cats named Mishka, Cupcake and Mr. Lambert.

I have been working at VCA Simmons Animal Hospital for nine years started as a park attendant back in 2015 in the Barkers Hotel and Purrington Inn Resort, then moved up to be a veterinary assistant lead for the hotel in 2016 and after a couple of years of hard work and dedication I was moved to the hospital area in 2018. I was able to learn a lot and move up to now be a veterinary assistant hospital manager. Choosing this career shows me that veterinary assistant was definitely what I was born for.
