Dr. Fuhrman is originally from the Lebanon County area. She attended Penn State University where she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Animal Bioscience. She went on to earn her Veterinary Degree from The Ohio State University. Dr. Fuhrman's special interest is feline medicine.

Dr. Fuhrman joined VCA Detwiler in early 2014 as a part-time Associate Doctor. She is also an Associate Doctor at our sister hospital, VCA Northside in Bethlehem.

In her spare time Dr. Fuhrman enjoys gardening, traveling to keep in contact with close friends and spending time with her family, including her kitties Rupert and Walter.
