Dr. Amanda Place received her undergrad degree in animal science from the University of Delaware in 2002 and DVM from the University of Georgia in 2006. Upon graduation, she joined a VCA practice in Pennsylvania where she became medical director and remained through 2019.
Dr. Place joined the team at VCA South Hadley in 2020. Her professional interests include internal medicine, infectious disease, wellness care, and particularly geriatric care.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Place's time is consumed by four kids, a husband, a gigantic garden, a dog, four cats, two guinea pigs, a flock of hens, and a very spirited thoroughbred.
