Richard Rogge, Associate Veterinarian

Veterinary School: Texas A &M University College of Veterinary Medicine

Dr. Rick Rogge attended Texas A&M University for his Bachelor of Science in 1976, and he received his DVM in 1978. Dr. Rogge has been a life long resident of the Sugar Land/ Richmond area. He joined the original Southwest Freeway Animal Hospital in Sugar Land in 1978. He enjoys all aspects of medicine but in particular has a clinical interest in surgery, internal medicine and dermatology. Dr. Rogge professional passion is caring for people and pets and supporting the human-animal bond.

Dr. Rogge and his wife Connie welcomed two their first 2 grandchildren to their family in 2016 and are expecting their 3rd in 2017. In their free time the Rogge’s enjoy going to Texas A&M football games and Dr. Rogge is also an avid and accomplished fisherman. Dr. Rogge is an active member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. The Rogge’s have three dogs a miniature schnauzer named Acie Lou, a golden retriever named Ellie and a yellow lab named Sherman.
