Amy Dobecki, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Dobecki joined the veterinary staff in 2006. She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, with a Bachelors in Business Administration and Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation from Tufts, she pursued a Small Animal Rotating Internship emphasizing emergency and critical care at New England Animal Medical Center.

Her special interests include emergency medicine, ophthalmology, and internal medicine. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association.

Dr. Dobecki's journey into veterinary medicine started early when she was fascinated by meeting her first animal at 9 months old, an all white female cat. By the time she was 6 years of age her family's dog had a litter of 9 puppies. From that point on, she knew that her life would be focused on animals.

When away from the clinic, Dr. Dobecki enjoys horseback riding, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her husband and sons, two dogs and horse!

"My favorite part of Sterling Veterinary Clinic is our staff members. We have a very special group of individuals who are always focused on ways to provide the best care for our patients. I feel incredibly fortunate to work amongst professionals with such a high standard of care."
