Dr. VanBenschoten first joined the Twin Rivers team in August 2013 as a veterinary assistant after graduating from Fordham University, where she earned her BS in Biological Sciences.  After working as a veterinary assistant for approximately two years, she decided to pursue her dream and went on to earn her VMD from the University of Pennsylvania.  She returned to Twin Rivers Animal Hospital in June of 2018 as an associate veterinarian.  In her free time, Dr. VanBenschoten enjoys playing in her co-ed slow-pitch softball league, cooking and baking, spending time with family and friends, and cuddling with her cat, Sara, while binge-watching Netflix series.
