Ever since childhood, Dr. Laura Krenik has had a passion for working with animals. Inspired by her grandfather, a surgeon, she combined her love for animals with the world of medicine, leading her to become a veterinarian. Dr. Krenik received her veterinary degree from St. George's University in Grenada, with additional clinical training at the University of Florida, where she honed her skills in a variety of veterinary disciplines.
Dr. Krenik is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care, especially to small animals, with a special interest in surgery, rehabilitation, and geriatric care. She is currently completing her certification in Veterinary Acupuncture and looks forward to incorporating this holistic therapy into her treatment options, providing a well-rounded approach to patient care.
Her approach to veterinary care is centered around building strong relationships with both pets and their owners. She believes in educating clients about their pets' health and involving them in every step of the treatment process, ensuring they feel informed and confident.
When not working with her four-legged patients, Dr. Krenik enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, reading, and hitting a workout class to stay active and energized. She finds great joy in connecting with pet owners, understanding their needs, and helping them navigate their pets' health with care and empathy.
