Dr. Spencer Lutchen has been a staff emergency veterinarian at VCA VREC since 2013. He was born and raised in Westchester County, New York. Dr. Lutchen earned his B.A. from Williams College in 2005, graduating as a double major in biology and music. After working as a technician for 3 years at VCA Davis Animal Hospital in Stamford, CT, Dr. Lutchen went on to complete his veterinary training at Kansas State University, graduating Cum Laude in 2012. He then completed a small animal rotating internship here at VCA VREC and VCA Shoreline VREC, before joining the staff as an emergency doctor.
