ASPCA 24 HREmergency

ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center Hotline

The ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center is staffed 24 hours with veterinary health professionals who have been specially trained in veterinary toxicology. If you think that your pet may have ingested a potentially poisonous substance, call the ASPCA 24 hour emergency Animal Poison Control Center hotline at (888) 426-4435. A $65 consultation fee is applied to your credit card.

Bichons and Buddies

Bichons and Buddies is a charitable not-for-profit organization based in and serving Southern California. Staffed with volunteers, their goal is to rescue Bichons, Bichon mixes and other small dogs from high-kill shelters and to take in dogs from people who can no longer live with their original guardian or guardians. In addition to their rescue and adoptions mission, the organization seeks to educate the community regarding the necessity to eradicate puppy mills, the importance of spaying and neutering pets, and how to be responsible pet guardians.

HoPe Veterinary Center

HoPe Veterinary Center (HoPe) is a non-profit corporation providing full service veterinary care to pets affected by poverty and homelessness in the greater Los Angeles area. HoPe operates with an all-volunteer staff and relies on donations from individuals, corporations and grants to fund the day-to-day operations of the clinic.

Lange Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to saving impounded companion animals, and preparing them for a journey to a new safe, loving world. We are located in West Los Angeles and have a second location called St. Bonnie's Sanctuary in Canyon Country, CA.

LA Animal Services

Los Angeles Animal Services

Los Angeles Animal Services is the perfect place to look for your new furry family member, to get a voucher for a reduced fee spay or neuter surgery, to get a dog or horse license or if you have a dangerous or barking dog problem. They also answer questions and calls about wildlife. There are six LA City shelters serving approximately 60,000 animals annually and responding to 20,000 emergency calls involving an animal or person in danger each year.

Los Angeles Police K9 Patrol Unit

The Los Angeles Police K9 Patrol Unit assists Patrol Officers in the location and apprehension of criminal suspects; location of firearms and other crime evidence in perimeter searches; location of missing persons; and they are deployed to support SWAT operations. These highly-trained police canines’ invaluable contributions enhance the safety of both officers and the members of the communities they serve, helping to further the reduction of crime and the fear of crime.

Tazzy Animal Rescue Fund

Tazzy Animal Rescue Fund operates as a full functioning animal rescue, while focusing on senior and medically-challenged pets. Their goal is to offer these loving seniors a grand retirement no matter how much time they have left. A medically-challenged rescued animal can count on top rated medical care and a safe warm place with lots of love to rest until a forever home is found. Tazzy Fund also offers many community programs that assist pet owners, offering services that will allow people to keep their pets in the home and avoiding situations that would otherwise cause them to relinquish their pets to an animal shelter. These assistance programs include, medical care, pet food, medication, short-term boarding, nutrition counseling, spay and neuter programs and direction to resources available that they may not provide.
