Patty Ramirez

Veterinary Assistant/Housekeeping Supervisor

With over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field, Patty Ramirez has dedicated her career to providing compassionate care to animals and their families. Originally from Guatemala, Patty moved to Los Angeles at the age of 13 and has called it home ever since. She began her journey at VCA in the housekeeping department, where her hard work and deep love for animals quickly stood out.

From there, she transitioned to a receptionist before ultimately finding her calling as a veterinary assistant in the ophthalmology department while also managing the housekeeping team. Her determination, reliability, and care for every patient did not go unnoticed.

Today, Patty is a valued member of the Primary Care team, where her passion for helping animals feel better shines through every day. Her long-standing commitment to animal care makes her an integral part of the VCA family.

Outside of work, Patty enjoys spending quality time with her family, attending church, being outdoors, and traveling with her husband of 25 years. She is a proud mother of two daughters and one son, and a devoted grandmother to her grandson.

Patty is also the loving owner of a 15-year-old Pomeranian mix, whom she rescued from VCA West LA at just six months old after she bravely survived Parvo. Her story, like Patty's, is one of strength, dedication, and love.
