Esophageal Stricture Management (including ballooning)

A narrowing of the esophagus which results in regurgitation of food. This narrowed area can be dilated with the use of a flexible endoscope and a balloon catheter which stretches the inner lining (mucosa) of the esophagus. This procedure may need to be performed several times for adequate dilation.
