Dr. Jason Hartsell is homegrown here in Moore County. He went to Sandhills Community College for two years and then finished two bachelor's degrees at NC State University in 1998. He graduated from the NC State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. He has traveled working mostly in North Carolina, then Florida, and a few years in Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

Dr. Hartsell enjoys the practice of small animal medicine, especially soft tissue surgery. In his free time he enjoys time with his bulldog, chickens, some gardening, and working with classic cars.
