Josephine recently joined VCA Whispering Pines. She has been learning and training in her new position here at VCA as a veterinary assistant. She absolutely loves to learn, and has been working alongside wonderful people who love to teach. Before joining VCA Whispering Pines, she worked as a kennel technician at NC State University, where her passion ignited for the care of animals. Josie thinks the most rewarding part of veterinary medicine is seeing our patients get better and helping our clients get reassurance about their pets' care.
Josie graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in forensics with a minor of chemistry, She has gained a lot of laboratory experience through this degree and finds laboratory work very interesting. She has a rescue dog named Dipper, two guinea pigs and a leopard gecko. Josie plans on enrolling in veterinary technician school to become a registered veterinary technician to help care for patients and be there for our clients.
