Jarelly joined VCA Wingate in the summer of 2022, thanks to her brother, who previously worked at the hospital. She started on the boarding team and quickly fell in love with all the pets in her care.
In January 2023, she transitioned from boarding to the medical team, where she discovered a passion for providing a different level of care to animals.
Jarelly has five cats—Zero, Athena, Cruella, Hades, and Ares—and one Shih Tzu named Jaime, who is her favorite…but don’t tell the cats!
She spends most of her time at the hospital or with her pets. Outside of work, she enjoys attending K-pop concerts and spending time with her friends, who also happen to be her coworkers.
