Dr. Jorgensen is originally from Gladwin, Michigan. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Saginaw Valley State University (2014) and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University (2018). Dr. Jorgensen started her career working alongside specialists and emergency clinicians during her year-long rotating internship with Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners in Grand Rapids (2019). She fell in love with emergency medicine and became an emergency locum doctor traveling to emergency hospitals in need both in Michigan and beyond with Skyevet. Eventually she decided it was time to stay close to home and started working with general practice clinics on a relief basis in the greater Grand Rapids area. This is when she found the incredible team at VCA Allendale.

Dr. Jorgensen still carries her passion for emergency medicine as well as interest in soft tissue surgery and wound management. 

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Jorgensen enjoys spending time with her young daughter (Evelyn), husband (Jeff), and Shetland Sheepdog (Riley). She also shares her home with two cats (Mia and Gemma) and has a gorgeous Morgan horse named Griffin (Finn). Hobbies include horseback riding, kayaking, traveling, and enjoying time with family/friends.
