Dr. Cristián Palma, originally from Lima, Peru, grew up in a diplomatic family, which allowed him to live in various countries, including US, France, Peru, England, Yugoslavia and Brazil. He completed his International Baccalaureate on a scholarship at Lester Pearson United World College in, British Columbia, Canada. Dr. Palma then earned a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a Master's degree in Ecology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He obtained his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Palma began his veterinary career in New Jersey, working at a small animal hospital alongside five other veterinarians. He and his wife relocated to the Flower Mound area, where he joined a small animal practice in Dallas for several years.
Dr. Palma joined our team in April 2007.
Outside of his professional life, Dr. Palma enjoys spending time with his wife and three grown children and indulging in his passions for reading, gardening, pottery and traveling. He shares his home with six cats, a dog and several dozen koi.
