Isaiah Rivera is a veterinary assistant at VCA Animal Care Associates in Colonial Heights, VA, where he supports the veterinary and client care teams in providing attentive and compassionate care for pets during their visits. Isaiah joined the hospital in November 2025 and quickly became a valued member of the team as he began building his career in veterinary medicine.
After graduating from high school, Isaiah entered the veterinary field with a clear goal of continuing his education and expanding his knowledge of animal care. He is currently enrolled in veterinary technician school and working toward earning his license in 2027, with plans to continue his studies and eventually pursue becoming a veterinarian.

Isaiah brings a strong sense of curiosity and enthusiasm to his role and enjoys learning from the experienced veterinary team around him. Each day in the hospital provides new opportunities to deepen his understanding of patient care while supporting pets and their families through every stage of their visit.
Outside of the hospital, Isaiah spends time caring for his own pets, including a cat, two ferrets, and a chinchilla. Living with a variety of animals has strengthened his appreciation for how different species behave and communicate, shaping the patience and attentiveness he brings to supporting patients during their visits.
