Dr. Janacek is passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of veterinarians. She enjoys leading continuing education courses in cardiology and echocardiography and serves as Co-Intern Director at her hospital, helping new veterinarians develop their skills and achieve their career goals.
Personal Facts:
In her free time, Dr. Janacek enjoys cooking, reading, and attending movies and live theatre.
Dr. Janacek and her husband are both Texas natives and proud Aggies. Her dog, Nina, a Great Pyrenees mix, underwent a corrective procedure for a congenital heart abnormality (PDA), a personal experience that inspires her dedication to helping pets and families. Nina is named after one of the first female cardiac surgeons.
