Where did you grow up?
Livermore, CA

What was your first pet?
A trusty little Labrador

Best way to spend a Saturday would be?
Spending time outdoors either running, climbing, surfing, or biking

This is embarrassing, but...Ariana Grande

Dream Vacation?
Any foreign experience involving either good eats, mountains, ocean, and/or mishaps and adventures along the way!

What made you join the veterinary medical field?
My love for biology, animals, and people—the perfect trifecta.

What is your favorite part of your job?
I love everything about it: interacting with clients and colleagues, providing preventative care for our furry friends, and managing medical and surgical cases.

What do you like to do for fun when you're not working?
When I'm not working I like to take every opportunity to go climbing, running, surfing, biking, you name it! I just like to be outside, especially if it involves quality people.

When did you decide that you wanted to part of the veterinary field?
My path to veterinary medicine was a funny one. I dreamt of becoming a vet as a young child, but pursued research in undergrad and for a couple years thereafter. One day when I was working as a research assistant, I thought to myself, "If only there was a career that combined animals, biology, and teaching…" Lo and behold, there is one! I quickly became a Veterinary Assistant, applied to veterinary school, and the rest is history.
