Shelby is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After high school, she attended Texas A&M University at Galveston where she received her BS in Marine Biology. When joining the VCA Pasadena family in January 2020, her position was Customer Service Representative and then she transitioned to Veterinary Assistant. What she likes most about her job is the people she works with and all the animals she gets to help every day.

Now, she is enrolled in the Penn Foster program to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Her favorite hobbies outside of work include outdoor activities (hiking, kayaking, snowboarding, wakeboarding and swimming), eating food, movie watching, and reading books. She is also Scuba Diving Certified.
