Starting with growing up with German Shepherd pet dogs throughout his childhood, Dr. Husky has always had an affinity for animals. After gaining interest in studying medicine during his adolescence, and continuing his love for all types of animals, it became a “no-brainer” as to what he would choose for his occupation.

After completing his undergraduate studies at University of California, Santa Cruz and graduating from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007, Dr. Husky started his veterinary career in North Carolina where he worked as an overnight emergency veterinarian for 5 years. Dr. Husky ecstatically returned to his home town of Los Angeles to continue practicing veterinary medicine in 2013. Since his return to Los Angeles, he has practiced a mixture of general practice and emergency/critical care work at a few different veterinary hospitals in the Los Angeles area. But now, he is proud to be a staff veterinarian at VCA Animal Medical Center of Southern California. His specific career passions include, but are not limited to, emergency medicine, critical care, internal medicine and surgery.

When not at work, don’t be surprised if you see Dr. Husky at a Lakers game or Dodgers game, as he is an avid sports fan. His other personal interests include music, marathon running, and hanging out with his best pal Dodger, his Labrador retriever.
