Melanie joined VCA Antioch Animal Hospital – Deer Valley in 1999 as a client service representative (CSR), after growing up locally in Antioch. Melanie has always felt a special bond with all types of animals, so it was very natural for her career to lead her to veterinary medicine. As a CSR, she enjoys educating clients, pet husbandry and enrichment. At home, Melanie enjoys collecting dolls, thrift store shopping, and spending time with her six guinea pigs (including one that was abandoned on our hospital doorstep!); she hopes to find the perfect pup to add to her family.
