Deborah is originally from Dallas, Texas, but moved to the Central Coast and joined the AGVH team in 2017. She graduated from Cedar Valley College with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology and received her LVT (Licensed Veterinary Technician) title soon after. She transferred her license to California, and is now also an RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician). She shares her home with her husband, a variety of rescued pets, and a fresh water aquarium full of fish. 

Barney has been "The Clinic Cockatiel" at VCA Arroyo Grande since 2006. His hobbies include ringing his toy bell, admiring himself in the mirror and whistling at all of the lovely employees of VCA Arroyo Grande.
