Marketa has always wanted to work in this field (with animals) every since she was very young, in elementary school. Marketa grew up with many different pets. At first she wanted to be a Veterinarian, but the more she learned she realized that she likes doing more hands work with the animals instead of the doctor’s work. Marketa attended Cal Poly Pomona to get her Bachelors degree in Animal Health Science so she could work as a Veterinary Technician. She truly enjoys helping animals and is blessed to have a career she loves. Marketa has been working in this field since February of 2006, and has been with VCA since November of 2011.
