VCA Blairstown Animal Hospital has a history of excellence in the community dating back to 1948. Dr. John Lovell is the current Medical Director of this vibrant, caring, and state-of-the-art facility. Dr. Lovell lives locally and started at the hospital in 2016. Our doctors, and the support staff of VCA Blairstown Animal Hospital continue to serve and treat the small animals and exotic species that the community loves as their pets. Many changes have taken place over the years, the latest being our new and updated facilities. While originally serving the needs of a farming community over 50 years ago, today our completely renovated facility functions as a state-of-the-art hospital with the ability to treat numerous ailments and diseases. We are proud to serve not only Blairstown, but also the surrounding New Jersey and Pennsylvania communities such as Hardwick, Knowlton, Frelinghuysen, Liberty, Washington, Belvidere, Hackettstown, Stroudsburg, and Newton. Our five veterinarians are here to provide full medical and surgical services in modern facilities. The vast knowledge of our experienced and talented team of doctors, combined with the latest technological advancements and treatments, makes VCA Blairstown Animal Hospital the best choice for the pets in your family!
We harness the scale and strength of our global network while acknowledging each individual's contribution. We work locally to improve the lives of all who interact with our brand.
