Dr. Fowler attended the University of Georgia, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Biology before entering the UGA College of Veterinary Medicine. He completed his DVM in 2014 with a special interest in exotic and zoo medicine. After school, he completed a one-year internship in small animal medicine with the BluePearl Veterinary Specialist in Sandy Springs, GA. The following year he completed a one-year specialty internship in exotic animal medicine while at BluePearl Veterinary Specialist in Tampa, FL, with a focus on birds, small mammals, and reptiles. During his specialty internship, he also volunteered as an associate veterinarian with the Tampa Lowry Park Zoo. He enjoys racquetball, cooking, and reading in his spare time and lives at home with his wife and Labrador retriever mix.
