Dr. Danielle Heckman is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Louisiana State University. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, and particularly enjoys soft tissue surgery. Dr. Heckman also very much loves helping out with any form of wildlife in need that gets brought into the hospital.

She and her husband, David, share their home with two dogs, two cats, a ball python, salt water fish, and a small flock of backyard chickens. In her free time, Dr. Heckman enjoys reading, camping, needlework and yoga.
