Dr. Jennifer Pollic grew up locally and received a biology degree right here at Utica University. From there she went on to complete her veterinary degree program at Purdue University. She currently lives with her husband and one pet, their cat Lincoln. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, painting and drawing, and just spending time with her husband. Dr. Pollic has a special interest in internal medicine, soft tissue surgery, and clinical pathology.
When asked what she likes most about her job, this is what she had to say: “I truly love the dual nature of my job: I get to solve medical puzzles while supporting the families who love my patients. I find my greatest fulfillment in those moments where I can extend a pet’s quality of life. Knowing that my care allows a senior dog to keep enjoying their favorite walks or gives a family extra years of companionship is what makes me excited to come to work every day.”
All of us here at Burrstone feel very blessed to have another doctor that is so passionate about what they do joining our hospital family. We truly believe she is the perfect fit for our hospital and will do great things in her time here with us.
