Danielle Stolmeier

Dr. Danielle Stolmeier is a San Diego native, born and raised in Vista, California. She started on her career path during her senior year of high school, completing an internship at a local hospital. Afterwards, she remained one of their veterinary assistants while attending Palomar College. Dr. Stolmeier finished her undergraduate education at Cal Poly Pomona, where she received her Bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in Animal Science – Pre-Veterinary Science from the College of Agriculture.

Dr. Stolmeier then attended The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine where she took a special interest in small animal medicine. She was later accepted into the Internship Program at California Veterinary Specialists and spent a year rotating in Surgery and Internal Medicine. Dr. Stolmeier was also a primary doctor in the emergency service during that time.

Dr. Stolmeier is the proud pet parent of 3 cats, Zoey, Porter, and Dolce. Her personal interests include weight lifting, cooking, singing, and playing the guitar. Her professional interests include cytology, surgery, emergency medicine, and behavior. She was an associate doctor in general practice for 3 years prior to returning to the ER. Dr. Stolmeier is happy to be back in her hometown practicing medicine and serving the community she was raised in.
