Dr. Aimee Krieger is a native of Massachusetts, graduating from University of Massachusetts in 1999 with a degree in Animal Science and Psychology. She then moved to the Los Angeles area to work at Harbor UCLA Research Institute in the field of pediatric medical genetics for two years. She then attended veterinary school at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, graduating in 2006. This is where she met her husband, who is also a veterinarian. Julio Canahuaty has been with VCA Coast Animal hospital since 2007 and in the veterinary field for 20 years. He has gained experience in all areas of the veterinary field. He began his career as a Customer service representative and quickly worked his way up to a practice manager. He passionately believes in making sure his practice delivers the highest quality of patient care in a compassionate environment that provides exceptional client service and education.
During his free time he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 children and his gentle giant Gia.
