Dr. Jennifer Barron was born and raised near Colorado Springs. She received her undergraduate degree in aquatic biology at University of California, Santa Barbara before moving to Washington State and earning her doctor of veterinary medicine at Washington State University (Go Cougs!) in 2010. After veterinary school Jennifer completed a rotating internship in the San Francisco Bay area at East Bay Veterinary Specialists and Emergency (EBVS). After finishing her internship she stayed at EBVS as an emergency doctor. Her passion is emergency medicine and pathophysiology of disease.

Jennifer recently moved back to beautiful Colorado to be closer to family and the mountains. In her free time Jennifer likes to travel, hike, ski and relax with her two mixed breed dogs, Chloe and Emma.
