Dr. Jonathan Troup is excited to join the VCA Deer Creek team. Jonathan is a graduate of Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. He received a degree in Animal Science at Auburn University prior to veterinary school. His main interests are emergency medicine and surgery. Jonathan is an automotive enthusiast.

In his off time, you can find him in his garage restoring old cars and building performance engines. He also enjoys traveling and once made a coast-to-coast road trip that totaled over 15,000 miles in one summer. His partner in crime is Sam, an 11-year-old black lab, who has been through it all with Jonathan. Sam has visited at least 27 of the 50 US states. Jonathan also enjoys skiing and mountain biking, but did not truly understand "mountain" biking until moving to Colorado.
